Corey Jenkins is the founder and CEO of Jayinex INC, whose mission and vision is to act as a hub for building community through creativity.

A Chicago native raised in the Chatham neighborhood, Jenkins is a multi-hyphenate creative with more than twenty-five years of experience. He has been commissioned to paint murals for organizations and institutions around the world, and his talents have fostered collaborations on notable projects and murals for communities in Oakland, Calif., South Bronx, N.Y. and Pine Ridge, S.D. His murals can also be seen on the FOX TV series Empire, the blockbuster feature Widows, and Powerbook: FORCE Season 2 on the STARZ network.

In addition to his artistry, Jenkins is an advocate for community outreach and engagement through arts integration. He is best known for teaching youth and young adults how to use technology and mixed media to creatively express themselves through visual and performing arts.

Jenkins is one of the original students of the University of Hip-Hop, where he became the not-for-profit organization’s Minister of Infinite Creation (MIC). As MIC, Jenkins has excelled as a public arts leader, youth advocate and mentor for students representing diverse cultural backgrounds.

In 2016, Jenkins was presented the Mission Award by the Chicago Leadership Alliance for his outstanding devotion to building community and empowering youth through the Arts.

Today, Jenkins is the embodiment of making a living with purpose. In addition to his role at Jayinex INC, he has served as a Production Instructor for the Gary Comer Youth Center, Director of Programming for The Remix Project, and is currently an Associate Producer at The Distillery Project. His breadth of responsibilities and experience have allowed him to expand his creative outlets as an artist, educator, and professional in the ad industry.
